First of all you need to know the region's name in French and English! Also if the name means something, tell us!

1. Culture - what is special in food, celebrations, music, language, traditional clothing, art... culture!
2. Cities - what are important cities? Tell a little about them.
3. What is this region most known for? Famous for? What should a visitor NOT miss? What makes this place interesting? (here is a place to include any interesting thing you find that doesn't fit in another research category.)
4. What famous French people came from or come from there? (Or any famous people who lived there...)
5. Important events in history that took place there!
6. What's the weather like?
7. What do they make/produce there? (Agriculture, industries, services, etc.) Are they rich? Poor? What's the economy like? Please keep this general and easy to understand.
8. What does it look like? Land? Rivers? Mountains? Other interesting landforms?? Etc. Does it border other countries or bodies of water? (Geography)
9. Sports
10. One recipe in French & English from the region.

To sum it all up:
You are gathering facts about the topics above using
1) the books I gave you (they are in your classroom)
2) websites that I have given you links to
You are writing the facts on the topic papers we set up in class. Bullet points or sentences are fine. You don't need to write notes in nice paragraph form.
and
You are gathering pictures and putting them into a PowerPoint along with the website name where you found the picture.

If you have problems or questions, please ask promptly. Check back often for new websites. I post new ones as I find them.
